Homepage and My profile
This guide explains how you can edit your personal homepage and personal settings in Trail.
You will also find information on how to contact Trail Support.
Modules
At the top of the page, you will find Trail’s main functions called "modules". A user only sees the modules they have been granted access to.
If you don’t see any modules, contact your organization’s main administrator who manages user permissions.
Widgets
If you frequently use a specific function (for example, creating a new reservation), you can access it quickly from the homepage. These homepage functions are called "Widgets".
To add widgets, click Add default widgets.
Frequently used functions and reports will be added to your homepage. These can be either selected by Trail, or defined by your organization for certain user groups. You can later edit or remove widgets as needed.
More information about different widgets can be found here: Homepage widgets.
Question mark
In the bottom-right corner of the page, you will find a question mark icon. Through this, you can:
- Contact Trail Support (support will reply by email as soon as possible).
- Search for user instructions.
My profile
You can edit your personal settings by clicking My profile in the top-right corner of the page.
Here you can:
- Update your personal information.
- Change the system language.
- Adjust the number of search results per page (e.g., in the item list under Items – All items).
- Change your password.
- Edit the columns visible in the item list.
- Manage homepage widgets.
Remember to save changes by selecting Save.
