Reporting a defect

If an item gets broken or it needs to be checked by the maintenance, users can fill out defect reports on browser and on the mobile app. 

Reporting a defect on browser

  1. Go to the item page of the defected item
  2. Click "Report defect" on the top right corner of the item page
  3. Depending on your organization's settings you may have less fields visible than in the example picture.

  4. Fill in summary and description, unless advised otherwise by your organization's key user, and click Create

  5. A new open maintenance will appear on both item page and on the Maintenance > Maintenance work

Reporting a defect on mobile

  1. Open the item page on the mobile app
  2. Select " Report Defect"
  3. Item page
  4. Fill in a summary and a description: what happened or what is not working
  5. Empty report

  6. Click "Save" on the top right corner of the page
  7. The defect reported will appear on the item page
