Home page (mobile)
After logging in to the Trail app, you land on the home page — your starting point for everything else.
From here you can see and open the different modules available to you, based on your user rights and account settings.
This guide explains what you'll find on the home page and in the main menu.
Home page overview
The home page gives you quick access to key pages, such as:
- Recently updated items
- In addition - Action to create new item
- Open maintenance work tasks
- In addition - Action to create new maintenance task without item link
- Upcoming reservation
- Latest transports
Menu
Tap the Menu button to open the full list of modules. Which ones you see depends on your user rights.

| Items (tab bar) | Open the item list, search items, open item cards |
| Reservations (tab bar) | Search and edit reservations, scan items to them, create new ones |
| Maintenance work | Search and work on activate maintenance tasks |
| My reservations | Open your own reservations |
| Locations | Open a location to see what's stored there and move items into it |
| Inventories | Create and carry out inventories |
| Transports | Open and perform transporting of the items |
| Driving journals | Open driving journals |
| Productions | Open active or inactive productions |
| Settings | Change language, set the theme to light or dark, and set whether scanning should default to camera or NFC |
| Profile | Your Trail user profile info with QR-code |
| Pair Zebra Scanner | Pair or unpair a Zebra scanner with this device |
| Logout | Sign out of the app |
Scan button
At the bottom of the view, there is a blue scan button. Depending on which page you're on, you can use it to, for example:
- Scan and open an item card
- Scan an item to a reservation
- Scan an item to an inventory
Under Menu > Settings > Scan mode, you can choose whether scanning should default to camera or NFC tag scan.
