Lendings module
The Lendings module provides a quick way to hand out equipment for users. It is especially useful when the return date is not known in advance.
Typically used for: uniforms, tools, or other equipment given to employees.
The Lendings App is an add-on service and is not included in the basic Trail license. To learn more or enable the service, contact sales@trail.fi.

Searching and filtering lendings
Trail keeps track of which items have been handed out to each user.
Lendings created through the Trail Lendings App can be viewed and managed in Trail under Lendings.
Open Lendings to view lending transactions and find equipment that has been handed out or returned.
You can search and filter the list using:
- Free-text search: Search by item model or user
- State: Filter by items that are currently lent out, returned, or deleted
- User: View equipment associated with a specific user
Viewing lending information
The Lendings list provides an overview of each lending transaction. Depending on the lending, the following information is shown:
- State: Current status of the lending
- Item: Individual item
- Model: Item model (for example stock model)
- User: User to whom the equipment was handed out
- Description: Additional information, such as the reason provided when an item was deleted
- Department: Department of the item
- Location: Location of the item
- Start time: When the lending started
- End time: When the lending ended
Return lendings
There are two ways of returning lended equipment:
- Through the Lendings application
- From Lendings page in Trail
- Users with editor rights to lendings can return items directly from Trail
