General information about Trail Sharing

Trail Sharing is an extension of Trail Asset Management that enables the sharing of assets and the establishment of shared inventories between different Trail environments.

With the Trail Sharing functionality, organizations using Trail can:

• Create asset-sharing networks with trusted partners
• Define which item units are visible and reservable by sharing partners
• Make reservations for shared assets from sharing partners
• Approve or reject reservations made on their own assets
• Check out and return reserved assets using Trail mobile and web applications
• Create shared locations (shared warehouse) among multiple sharing partners

Enabling the Trail Sharing functionality: The Trail Sharing functionality is an extra charge service. If you wish to enable it in your own Trail environment, please contact sales@trail.fi

Note: Enabling the Trail Sharing functionality may modify the view of your item list to the new item list view if you are still using the older item list view
