Maintenance work tab
Note! The below instructions include examples from the upcoming renewed maintenance list view. As a result, some visible features may not yet be available to all users.
The maintenance work page is a useful tool for the users who are responsible for maintenance work. By default, the page displays open defect reports and ongoing scheduled maintenance work. Through the advanced search, it is also possible to find closed maintenance work.
By clicking on a summary, it's possible to open a dedicated view for the specific maintenance task.
Users with editor-level rights for maintenance work can perform and close maintenance tasks. Depending on the activated settings, in some organisations, also reader-level users can perform and close planned maintenance work.
Modifying the list view
On the right-hand side of the list view, there are tools that allow each user to customise their own view.
Selecting Columns – On the right side of the page, each user can select which columns should be displayed in their view. For example: status, summary, device, or location.
- Statistics View – By clicking the bar chart icon, users can view a maintenance report showing how many maintenance tasks have been closed or rejected at different times.

Advanced Search
The advanced search allows you to filter which maintenance tasks are shown. You can search by location, maintenance type, and more. Below is an explanation of some specific search criteria:
- Activity state
- Inactive – The item is either softly removed, or its maintenance plan has been deleted.
- Active – The item is in use, and a maintenance plan is in place.
- Assigned to – Select the user who has been assigned as responsible for the maintenance tasks.
- Assigned to me – Displays maintenance tasks where you have been set as the responsible person.
Define a Maintenance Task
You can create an additional maintenance task without linking it to a specific item. Through this view, the user can define a maintenance task for a particular topic, such as changing a ceiling light in a certain room.
