Renewing items as part of an investment
This guide will go through how to renew items as part of the Trail investment module.
Adding items to investment plan
1. Open the item's item card that will be renewed.
2. Click Edit. The edit form will open.
3. From: Investment, select the investment plan the item will be renewed in.
4. Save the change from the end of the edit form.
Item is now added to the investment plan.

Renewing items
1. Open Investments - All investments
2. Open the investment plan. Selected items will be shown in section: Items to renew
3. Click Add purchases to plan and add substitute items.
4. Fill in the needed information to new purchase form:
- Fill in at least: Title and the model name and amount of which items will be purchased
- Section: Add items - When you have added the model name and the number of the items, click: Add items. This will save the information and allow you to choose other models into the same purchase form.
- Click Save, when all the needed information has been added.
5. When purchase plan is ready, it can be accepted by clicking the Accept button.
6. When creating a purchase, each added item will get their own item card. They will stay in a Draft state and will not be shown in the item list, before the item has been activated (taken into use).
7. How to active item card: When the item has been gotten, the item card can be activated. This can be done by opening the item card (click the identifier from the purchase view), and click print label.
How to delete the old item
1. Open the item card of the item you will not be using anymore.
- You can find the item either from searching it from item list or from the investment page, section: Items to renew.
2. Click Delete. You can add a reason for deletion, such as: Renewed.
3. Click the red Delete button. This way the item will be deleted, but can be found later on from the item list's advanced search possibilities.
