Wired Gryphon Scanner

We have made the wired scanner generally very plug and play so it doesn’t need any actions before use.

If you are experiencing issues with it please contact our support with details regarding the issue.

Wireless Gryphon Scanner

Before starting the use of a wireless Gryphon scanner, please make sure that the scanner has been fully charged. This can take up to 11 hours depending on if you use the device during charging and the charging method.

For the wireless scanner there are three possible ways to charge the device. The default way is with the usb since that is what you receive with the package, and it is needed to connect to the computer as well.

These are the different ways to charge the scanner. Connecting it to a computer with the cable that comes in the package. This goes to the connection port on the left in the picture. Connecting it with an auxiliary charging cable set into an outlet. The aux goes into the port on the right.

Fastest way to charge is by setting a micro usb with a wall adapter into the base of the scanner.

The wireless Gryphon scanner can be set vertically, presenting or horizontally.

The difference between vertical and presenting is that the scanner can be set to a higher angle to make it easier to show scannable items to it. This is meant for when the scanner is stationary and doesn’t need to leave the station as often.

To set the station to presenting you need to unscrew the screw marked with blue below the base station. Set the station to a proper presenting position and the re-screw the screw.
