Sign in to the mobile app

  • Trail Asset Management goes with you, even on the move.
  • The mobile app is designed to make your daily work easier when you are away from your computer. With the mobile app, you can for example: check item information, make reservations, create defect reports, and mark maintenance tasks as completed.
  • The app works on both iOS and Android devices.
  • This guide explains how to log in to the Trail mobile app.

Downloading the app

You can download the app to your mobile device via the following links. You can also search for it directly in the app store using the respective name:

Logging into the app

Note! The background color differs between the iOS and Android apps. Otherwise, the login works the same way.

  1. Open the app
  2. Enter your organization’s Trail address (e.g., organisation.trail.fi).
  3. Press Continue.
  4. Enter your email address and password.
  5. Press Login.
  6. Trail will direct you to the system’s home page.

Logging in with Single Sign-On (SSO)

  1. Open the app
  2. Enter your organization’s Trail address (e.g., organisation.trail.fi).
  3. Press Continue.
  4. Select Login using single Sign-on / Single Sign-on.
  5. Enter the username and password you normally use with SSO.
  6. After logging in with Microsoft SSO, you will be redirected back to the Trail app as a logged-in user.

Important note!

  • Do you have SSO enabled in the browser but not in the mobile app?
    • SSO must be enabled separately for the mobile app. You can find instructions in the next article: SSO mobile settings (iOS and Android).
    • As an alternative, you can log in manually with your Trail username and password (see the section Logging into the app).
