Widget: Item search

With the Item search widget you can find items that have been added as individual items straight from the homepage, without having to open the item list.

How the widget works

  • Text search: Type a search term in the Free text field and click Search.
    • Type at least 3 letters/characters of the word for Trail to search for matching words.
    • Trail searches for the term in the item information.
  • Saved search: Select a previously saved search from the menu.
  • Click Advanced search if you want to narrow the search with specific search criteria.
    • You can narrow the search by, for example, department, location, category, item type, purchase date, audit date, end of lifespan or price.
    • You can also choose whether marked, deleted or reservable items are shown.
