Items

Items is the key module in Trail. You are able to see all the items you have in Trail and information of them. Based on department access, some users may see more items than others. Each item will get its own item card from where you can see all the data collected for the item and all of its maintenance and reservation data. If needed, there are also possibilities to add stock model and consumable views. In these views, items will be tracked on quantity level instead of individually.

Following instructions explains the item card and what information can be found from it: Item card

Reports

Maintenance

In Trail it is possible to report and maintain defects of the items. This way all users will know if an item is broken and should not be used for example in a reservation.

It is also possible to create maintenance plans and maintain the items regularly. Based on given information, Trail informs when the items need to be maintained at the latest, to make sure all the equipment are safe and ready for usage. Trail also offers to mark maintenance plans as L.O.L.E.R. that prevents to edit any information of the maintenance after it has been closed.
