Lendings App: Deleting equipment
If equipment handed out to an employee is broken, lost, or stolen, it can be deleted directly in the Lendings App.
Deleting equipment removes it from active use in Trail. For individual items, the item remains in Trail but is marked as deleted. For stock models, the available quantity is reduced.

- Identify the employee using their ID card or by searching for their name
- Find the item you want to delete and click the red Delete button
- Select the reason for deletion from the drop-down menu
- Add a description if needed
- Click Delete

The equipment is removed from the employee's card.
What happens to deleted equipment?
- For an individual item, the item is marked as deleted in Trail. Its information remains available in Trail for history and reporting purposes.
- For a stock model, the quantity is reduced by the deleted amount. The deletion and its reason can be viewed in the Lending history.
