User can't log in / How to reactivate a user
In this article we will guide you how to reactivate a user. To activate a user you need to have editor -level rights to Admin -module.
User can't log in
If a user has had a Trail account previously and now they no longer can't log in with their account, there are two possible scenarios:
- User's 'Valid until' -date has expired
- The user account has been deleted
In both cases the first step is to go to Admin > Users -view and click on the 'Show advanced search' under the Free text search field.
Select 'Show only inactive users' from the Active users drop-down menu and click 'Go'
Trail will now display all the inactive users. Click on the user you would like to activate
User deleted
To activate the user click 'Undelete' on the top right corner of the page.
The user can now log in to Trail using the same username and password as previously.
User's Valid until -date expired
If a user's Valid until date has expired, you will find the user from the list of inactive users. Go to the user page and click 'Edit user'
From the edit page, change the 'Valid until' date to be in the future or delete the date. Remember to save the changes from the Save -button at the bottom of the page
After saving the new Valid until -date, the user is activated and they can log in again using the same username and password.
