How do I change my profile settings?

You can change your profile settings on the "My profile" button at the top right corner of the page. All the changes done in "My profile" changes the settings only on your own profile.

From this view you can change the following information:
NOTE! It is important to save all the changes pressing the blue "Save" -button on the bottom right corner. Trail does not save any changes automatically.  

Personal information

In this field, you can edit your profile name and your phone number (this information will appear in the details of any reservations you create or added to)

  • Phone number. This is recommended so that your organization and also if needed Trail support can reach you in urgent matters. 
  • First name and Last name
  • Send copy to email All the email notifications your user gets, a copy will be sent to this address too. This is commonly used when the user is on a leave. 

System Options

In this field you can choose which language Trail is in, the number of search results that are displayed per page, the visual size of notifications and whether they remain visible at the top of the screen once received.

  • Language Trail can be used in English, Finnish and Swedish
  • Items per page How many items per page you will see when using the items list. 
  • Notification size You can either have big or small notifications on Trail. 
  • Keep all notifications visible If you select 'Yes' the notification will no go away automatically

Change Password

In this field you can change your password, the letters are automatically hidden in the password fields for security reasons.  If you are using SSO (see Log in and Home Page), this is the password you will use for signing into the mobile app.

Item List Columns

You can choose the columns you will see in the item list. Depending on your environment you might have more options than in the example picture above. In the picture below the items list columns are marked with red.

Front page widgets

The boxes displayed on the homepage are called widgets, in this field you can select the widgets that you want to appear on your homepage by clicking the checkboxes.  Once you have chosen the widgets you require, you can move them around on the homepage by clicking on the blue banner and dragging them to your preferred location.
